Water for Children

Does your child pay to drink water?

Clean water for children in Pakistan is not available to all and is seen as a luxury to some, a distant dream that seems hard to reach. Pakistan is the sixth most populated country in the world and with the common occurrences of floods, millions fall back into the cycle of poverty and find it difficult to progress in life. Many are affected and if not displaced, then thousands are suffering from diseases due to poor sanitation and the contamination of water sources.

Sa’d ibn ‘Ubaadah said: "I said: ‘O Messenger of Allah, my mother has died. Should I give charity on her behalf?’ He said, ‘Yes.’ I asked, ‘What kind of charity is best?’ He said, ‘Providing water.’

Clean Water Project

Ghazali Education Trust UK (GET UK) is working hard to provide clean water to many, especially to those in remote areas of Pakistan who do not have access to water purifiers. GET UK’s Clean Water Project provides water treatments to stop the contamination of water and prevent diseases in the hope of saving these innocent lives from falling sick or even dying.

GET UK ensures that the drinking water is safe for all children and is also free for all. Whilst there is nothing better than to fill the thirst of a child, GET UK needs your help to continue this astounding project of water conservation. Imprint your involvement and donate clean water to children or towards a water purification plant. Do not stop the water, keep it flowing for these children.
